COREY, Paul - January 3, 1941 - October 29, 2022
Paul's big, beautiful heart stopped beating on Saturday night, leaving us to marvel how he lived life fully up to the last minute.
His wife, Mary, is missing her daily "have I told you lately."
Julie, Jenny and Brennan had the best dad ever.
His mother, Jeanette (Deveaux) Corey, and mother-in-law, Mary (Brennan) Keenan, doted on Paul as he did them.
Genny, Liam, Nicholas, Isabella and Kaleigha will have to share their memorable times with grandpa, so his new great-grandson, Kaladin, will know him too.
Every member of Paul's extended families has a different story of how he affected them. He truly cared for everyone in his ever-growing circle of special people.
There has never been a professor who loved his work more. He retired from the University of Toronto, after more than 50 years of inspiring students to embrace Biostatistics, but kept up with some pet projects to the end.
Feel free to donate in Paul's name to CF Canada, Jessie's Shelters, Anne Marie D'Amico Foundation, MSF, or some needy person on the street.
We will come together at a private family gathering at Paul's forever home on Dunedin, on November 12, 2022.
Please gather with loved ones wherever you are to laugh, cry, remember and celebrate the one and only Paul Corey.
