PALMER, Margaret Joan (nee FORD)   -  She will be greatly missed.

She passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, on the morning of Saturday, December 3, 2022, at the age of 77.

She is survived by Garry, her husband of 56 years; her children, Christine and Michael (Georgina); and her grandchildren, Cole, Brooklyn and Everly.

An only child, she was predeceased by her parents, Laura Yvonne Warren (1951) and Thomas Allan Ford (2007).

She loved her family and friends, travelling, music from the '50s and '60s, ballet, figure skating, musicals and especially genealogy.

She said she inherited her sleuthing skills from her dad, which helped her discover and connect with many other relatives all over the world.

She held warm relationships with people from many time periods in her life, and enjoyed receiving so many visits, messages, flowers and cards over the past few weeks and months.

She was touched and humbled to know of the impact she'd had on others' lives.

At her request, there will be no funeral or memorial service.

She will be cremated and interred with her parents and paternal grandmother in Mount Hope Cemetery.
