MARTIN, Lino - 1926 - 2022 Peacefully passed away at home, on Friday, December 23, 2022, at the age of 96.
Lino was born in Azzano Decimo, and emigrated from Cimpello, Friuli, Italy, in 1949. He arrived at Pier 21 in Halifax, and started a new life culminating as a successful businessman.
Beloved husband of Liliana (née Piccinin) for 68 years. Very much a family man, he was a loving father to Rick (Ann) and Denise (Frank); much loved nonno to Nicole (Dayna), Lianna (Nick) and Ryan; and bisnonno to Arlo, Elowen, Wilder and Hart.
His accomplishments were many, a good man and much loved, but his greatest were his family, home, roses and garden. Arrangements with Ward Funeral Home.
