KRON, Daphne Marie (nee BOQUIST) - March 24, 1934 - November 2, 2022
Daphne Marie Kron, aged 88, died in her sleep at home in Toronto, on November 2, 2022.
Born in Kenora, on March 24, 1934, to Elsie Boquist (born Hager, raised Rivers, not Constable) and William Boquist.
She studied Nursing, but chose to become a teacher after experiencing life on the ward.
She taught children in Ottawa and Cold River, until she married John Kron, also of Kenora, and started a family of her own.
She had three boys, William Kron (who sadly predeceased her), Geoffrey Kron of Victoria, BC, and Paul Kron of Toronto, Ontario. Her four grandchildren, Liam, Luke, James and Matthew, will miss her.
A memorial service will be held at Morley Bedford Funeral Home, 159 Eglinton Ave. W., Toronto, on Thursday, January 5, 2023, at 1 p.m.
