ELMS, Myrtle (nee ROGERS) - Born in Bromley, Kent, England, April 20, 1927, to Eric and Dora Rogers, passed away peacefully, on December 29, 2022, at the young age of 95.
Longing to join her husband, Ken (Cecil Hilton), who passed away in 1991.
Myrtle was the eldest of three daughters; survived by her youngest sister, Hazel; half-brother, Howard; and half-sister, Elizabeth, all in England. She and Ken immigrated to Canada with their two young children, David and Tina, in 1958.
She lived in their house in Weston for 58 years before moving to her little bungalow in Woodstock for the last few years of her life.
She leaves behind her son, David (Shari); daughter, Tina (David); grandchildren, Matthew, Roger, Melanie, Robyn and Katrina; plus eleven great-grandchildren.
A memorial will take place in the spring.
