LAIDLAW, Bradford John "Brad"   -  Passed away peacefully at home on January 1, 2023, at the age of 60. 

 

Born on February 26, 1962, in Halifax, NS, Brad was a very proud and loving father, partner, son, brother and uncle, and will be deeply missed by his partner of 23 years, Tracey Holmes.

 

His mother, Elizabeth "Betty" Laidlaw (Ron Charlton) of Gaetz Brook, NS; his sister, Darci O'Leary (Shamus); his brother, Greg Laidlaw (Kelsey Cunningham); his son, Justin Laidlaw, and Justin's mother, Lauren Schagen (Michael Thomas) and family; and also his many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Wilfred "Junior" Laidlaw (Roseanne) of Middle Musquodoboit, NS.

 

He will be lovingly remember by Barb and Eric Holmes, and family. Brad was an avid golfer who loved to snowboard and travel, and became an avid hockey fan. Brad lived his life 100% truly and authentically himself, always.

 

His personality was larger than life. Cremation will be taking place, and a Celebration of Life will be planned for Ontario and Nova Scotia.
