Angus AlexanderANGUS, Alexander Robert   -  When death's dark stream I ferry o'er a time that surely shall come; In Heaven itself I'll ask no more Than just the Highland welcome. -

Robert Burns Passed away suddenly at home on Saturday, December 31, 2022, in his 61st year.

Dear son of James Angus and the late June Angus. Brother of Robin (Richard) MacPherson and Stewart (Betty) Angus.

Proud uncle of Taylor (Michael), Stewart, Andie, Darcy and Jamie. Great-uncle to Rory. Alexander grew up on a small farm in Queensville, Ontario, where he experienced and embraced the values of hard work, trust, humility and 'your-word-is-your-bond' ethics. Alex's life was impacted heavily when he was struck by an impaired driver as a child.

His injuries were serious and he was not expected to survive. However, Alex would not let his accident define him. Through the support and love of his parents and an innate streak of determination and stubbornness, he pulled through and went on to live an independent and full life.

The challenges he bore fueled him to show others that he was fully capable in all things, a mindset manifested in his love of sports.

He was fiercely proud of his family, his Scottish heritage and the ties that bound those that he loved so deeply. They loved him back in equal measure, for he was an inspiration to them. He lived by the golden rule and was a good friend and colleague to many at his workplace of many years, the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO).

We thank them for their support over the years. The family will host a private celebration of life in the spring.

If desired, memorial donations may be made to The Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto.
