Campbell BridgetCAMPBELL, Bridget Lorraine   -  September 21, 1978 - January 6, 2023

Our dear Bridget passed away peacefully, at Toronto General Hospital on January 6, 2023, after a 4-month battle with cancer.

Bridget was a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, sister and aunt.

She was born Bridget Lorraine Campbell in Oakville, on September 21, 1978, and grew up in Georgetown, Ontario, before attending undergrad at Western University and law school at Queen's University.

During these years, Bridget played volleyball for the Province of Ontario and for Western (captaining the team in her senior year).

After law school, Bridget moved to Toronto and settled into her new career as an associate at Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP, before marrying her beloved Edward in 2008 and also joining BlackRock as internal counsel, where she remained a critical part of the BlackRock legal team as a Director until her passing. Bridget and Ed had their adored children, Georgie and Teddy (2010 and 2012, respectively).

Bridget's passion and dedication to her legal work was only surpassed by her commitment and devotion to her family. She truly was an inspiration and made us so very proud. Bridget was the light of our lives and she will be sorely missed.

A visitation will be held at Mount Pleasant Funeral Centre (375 Mount Pleasant Rd.) on Sunday, January 15, 2023, from 4-8 p.m.

The funeral service will be held at the same location on Monday, January 16, 2023, at 1 p.m.

Donations in Bridget's memory can be made to The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation at: www.supportthepmcf.ca/ui/DonateNow/donations/start.
