Riddell MargaretRIDDELL, Margaret Rose   -   Margaret died peacefully, at St. Michael's Hospital, on January 5, 2023, in her 90th year, after a courageous battle with cancer.

 

She is predeceased by her sister Norma (Remy predeceased).

 

She will be greatly missed by sisters Estelle (Don, predeceased) and Linda, She will also be greatly missed by her nieces and nephews; Michael (Debbie), Holly, Mary Catharine (Steve), Gordon (Margaret), Susan (Nick), and Brent (Tracey).

 

Her many grandnieces and grandnephews, cousins and friends will cherish her memory.

 

Margaret graduated as a Registered Nurse from St. Michael's Hospital in 1956.

 

She worked as a nurse there until her retirement after which she volunteered for many years. Many thanks to the doctors, nurses and other team members throughout St. Michael's Hospital for their compassionate care.

 

The family would also like to thank Asha for her kindness, love and exceptional home care.

 

A Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 354 St. Clair Avenue West at Bathurst, on Tuesday, January 17th at 10:00 a.m. Reception to follow at the Humphrey Funeral Home A.W. Miles – Newbigging Chapel, 1403 Bayview Avenue.
