KUZMICH, Natalie - May 22, 1932 – January 7, 2023
Natalie Kuzmich (née Belz), Professor Emeritus of the University of Toronto, passed away at the age of 90 in her Toronto home, surrounded by her family, on January 7 2023.
Natalie was a tireless advocate for the arts, innovator in music education, and role model for women in music.
The only child to Ukrainian immigrant parents, she survived her husband, Michael Kuzmich, by 11 years.
Her son's family (John Kuzmich and Anne-Marie Borcherding) and daughter's family (Andrea Kuzmich, Shalva Makharashvili and children Shalva-Lucas and Gabo) are planning a Celebration of Life for February 4th, in Toronto.
