SONCIN, Antonia - Passed away peacefully, at Toronto General Hospital on Sunday, January 22, 2023, at the age of 79.
Dearly beloved husband of Luciana; loving father of Cristina (Peter) Stajan, Carla and John (Erica); cherished Nonno of Aurora, Andre, Catherine, Stella and Gabriel; and dear brother of Miranda, Margaret and the late Vittorino (Lamberta).
He will be missed by his many nephews, nieces and his honourary daughter, Ann Sweeney Jones.
Antonio modelled the immigrant story and built a path for his family. He loved his work but enjoyed his retirement at home and at the cottage.
Resting at Newediuk Funeral Home, Kipling Chapel, 2058 Kipling Avenue, on Thursday, January 26, 2023, from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Roch's Church, 2889 Islington Avenue, on Friday, January 27, 2023, at 10 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the University Health Network or a charity of your choosing would be appreciated by the family.
