Fisher CordeliaFISHER, Cordelia Matilda (nee GOODCHILD)    -  Sadly, Cordelia passed peacefully in her sleep, on January 21, 2023.

Cordelia was born in Georgetown, Guyana, on September 19, 1932.

One of five children, dear sister of the late William, Avis, the late Claudine, and Doreen.

Loving wife of William Fisher; cherished mother of Rennie (wife, Marisa); devoted grandmother to Daniela and Erica (husband, Graham); great-grandmother to Lionel and Grant; and sweet sister-in-law to Glenda (partner, Carol).

Cordelia's career included teaching high school in Guyana, time in the U.K. working at White Hall and working in various industries in Toronto, the last being financial services.

She was her family's anchor, and a vital support to William as he taught at Father Redmond Catholic Secondary School and Michael Power St. Joseph High School.

She was a wonderful loving individual who gave of herself freely, as was reflected by the many compliments she received from William's fellow teachers and administrators, as well as Rennie's friends and colleagues.

As her dear Bill says, she lived her life fearlessly, with courage and grace, and never an unkind word for anyone. Cordelia will be dearly missed by her family and to all those blessed to have her in their lives.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.

Should you wish, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
