ROSE, Joseph Arthur - June 9, 1946 - January 24, 2023
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Joseph Arthur Rose, on January 24, 2023.
Husband to the love of his life, Helen, for 41 years, wonderful father to Jonathan (Jacqueline) and Christopher, and loving grandfather to Hudson and Harrison.
He was predeceased by sister, Katherine (Bobby); and survived by siblings, Nancy Hartford (John), James Rose, Trisha Dacosta (Lou), Heather Rose (Don) and Beth Rose (Denis); and cherished nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Joseph will forever be remembered as a loving, caring, and selfless man.
His smile could light up a room and the twinkle in his eyes revealed his charming and outgoing spirit.
Born in Clarkson, Ontario, in 1946, Joseph opened his own automotive repair shop in 1973 and over the past five decades, his generosity, and kind nature saw many customers become friends, and friends and staff became his family.
Joseph touched countless lives and will be sorely missed by the many people he has left behind.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks you take a moment to remember Joe and as per his wishes, cremation will take place.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 3rd, at 11 a.m. at Turner & Porter Funeral Home (2357 Bloor Street West, Toronto). A Reception will be held following the Service to Celebrate Joseph's Life.
