Ken will be reunited with his true love, Jean, who predeceased him in March of 2000. He was also predeceased by his brother, Bill; and sisters, Betty and Joan. Ken is survived by his 4 children: sons, Jeffrey (Cherie), Mike (Jeannie), Chris (Nancy) and his daughter, Joanne.

Ken is the loving grandfather and mentor to 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Ken served in the RCAF during WWII as an air force trainer. After which he held a number of trailer manufacturers Freuhauf, Thorncrest Ford, Hawker Siddley Can-Car, Hi-Way Trailers, International and Roadmaster.

Then in 1982, at the age 55, he founded K.I.D.Trailer and Equipment Sales in Oakville with his wife, Jean and two sons, Mike and Chris, at his side. Ken was well known throughout the Canadian Truck and Trailer industry and was a longtime member of the Ontario Trucking Association (OTA).

He was a former member of Kiwanis and gave several years of his time to managing a very successful midget AA GTA and Ontario minor hockey team. He worked daily until he was well into his 90's selling various trailers all across Canada and guiding his business K.I.D. which is now run by Mike and Chris.

Ken will be remembered as a special husband, dad, grandfather and friend to all who knew him and was loved and respected.
