KONDO, Haruko - Haru passed away on March 8, 2023, at the age of 99, after a brief illness.
Haru is survived by her sister, Amy Yano; predeceased by her brother, Sam Kondo and her sister, Mitsy Miura.
She will be missed by her nieces and nephews, their families and her community of friends and caregivers at Momiji Seniors Residence and Extendicare Guildwood.
Haru's life was celebrated in a private gathering of family members.
Those wishing to honour Haru's memory are invited to make donations to Momiji Health Care Society or the Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre.
