Passed away at St. Joseph's Hospital, on Sunday, April 16, 2023, at the age of 88.
Beloved uncle of Sharon (Bert deceased 2023), Donna (Dennis deceased 2003), Karen (deceased 2022) and Judy. Loving great-uncle of Daniel, Jason, Lisa, Bert, Bernadette, Jeanine, and Nathalie.
Brother of Ann Straine (deceased 2009) and Mary Rumak (deceased 2018).
A diligent tool and die maker for several decades, Uncle Johnny was a loving mentor and patriarch to our family for several generations, raising us from many low points in our lives with stoic dignity and grace.
Visitation will be held at Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 3357 Bloor Street West, on Friday, April 21 2023, at 2:00 p.m., with a Memorial Service to follow at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel.
