LeBLANC, Frederick William "Bill"   -  It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Frederick William "Bill" LeBlanc, in his 96th year, on Saturday, April 29, 2023, at Michael Garron Hospital.

 

He will be dearly missed by all of his family and friends.

 

Bill was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, to loving parents, Frederick and Stella LeBlanc.

 

He loved archery, playing Euchre at the Local 46 Union Hall and spending time with his family and friends. Bill is survived by his dear children, Bill, Fred and Doug LeBlanc, and Kathy Valant (Nick); his cherished granddaughters, Sarah and Claire Valant; and many extended family and friends.

 

He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Jacqueline LeBlanc (nee Bessette); and his brothers, Wally, Leo, and Peter.

 

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Michael Garron Hospital for the care they provided, especially to Workia and Jade.

 

Visitation for Bill will be held Monday, May 8, 2023, from 1:00-4:00 and from 6:00-9:00 p.m., at Giffen-Mack and Trull Funeral Home, 2570 Danforth Ave., Toronto, ON M4C 1L3. A Funeral Mass will be offered, Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Lawrence Martyr Parish, 2210 Lawrence Ave. E., Scarborough, ON M1P 2P9, followed by interment in Thornhill, ON.

 

If preferred, in lieu of flowers, in memoriam donations may be made to ShareLife or to Michael Garron Hospital Foundation to the benefit of the Palliative Care Unit.
