BANACZYK, Dariusz -
August 27, 1935 – May 22, 2023
With great love and sadness, we announce the passing of Dariusz, at the age of 87.
Dariusz was the loving husband to his wife of 57 years, Maria; devoted father to his daughters, Diane (Paul) Bieniasz and Adela (Bruno) Biscaro; and the proud grandfather to Ella, Luca, Stefen, Matteo and Marcello.
Dariusz immigrated to Canada from Poland in 1965 to begin his life in Toronto.
He married his wife, Maria, and set out to build a life for himself and his family.
Dariusz worked for over 30 years at Consumers Glass as a Tool and Dye Maker, and in his spare time, would do auto body repair on his family and friends' vehicles.
Dariusz had a zest for life, he could befriend a stranger within minutes and know their whole life story.
Adventurous and fun loving to the core, Dariusz loved spending time with family and friends and was always ready to participate in any activity.
He had an infectious joy that could light up a room and a generous heart filling all who knew him with fond memories. Dariusz is and will always be in our hearts.
Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lake Shore Blvd. W., for visitation on Friday, May 26, 2023, from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Teresa Parish, 100 Tenth St., on Saturday, May 27, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow.
