STERNBERGH, Dexter  -

December 12, 1940 - May 4, 2023

Donald Dexter Sternbergh died on the morning of May 4th, at Providence Hospital in Toronto.

Born in York, PA, he was the widower of Juanita Sternbergh, to whom he was married for 54 years; the eldest son of Marcia and Donald Sternbergh; a brother to Virginia Lecrone, Hazen Sternbergh, and Christopher Sternbergh (deceased); and a loving grandfather to four treasured grandchildren, Anna, Max, Ruth and Archie.

A graduate of Haverford College, Dexter moved his family to Canada and called Toronto home for nearly 50 years.

A lifelong learner with a buoyant spirit and unquenchable curiosity, he was quick to share an engaging fact or amusing tale.

He was father to four children, including Leslie Alexander (deceased), Daniel Sternbergh, Adam Sternbergh, and Katy Weber.

He will find his final resting place at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens in York, PA.
