Richard AllenRICHARD, Allen Joe Richard 

NOVEMBER 11, 1970 – JUNE 1, 2023 

 

Passed away peacefully at home on Thursday June 1st in his 53rd year, after a lengthy and courageous battle with Atypical Meningioma. 

 

Allen is the loving husband and best friend for 34 years of Tammy LeBlond and dedicated loving father of Brennan and Bradley. 

 

Allen will be dearly missed by his siblings Fred (Christine), Roseanne, Jeanette (Rick), Stephen (Tina), John (Koko), Henry (Sarah).

 

He will also be missed by the entire LeBlond family. Allen was a devoted and caring uncle to many nieces and nephews. 

 

He is predeceased by his parents Frederic and Christena Richard, and his sister Louise. 

 

Allen had a strong work ethic and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He was humble in his approach as an extremely skilled tradesman who specialized in painting perfection.

 

He was a fishing aficionado, which he developed from a young age fishing the many lakes and rivers throughout Ontario. He shared his passion and many creative ideas in his love for cooking and was always enthusiastic about trying new foods.

 

Allen was also a very gifted athlete, excelling in middle distance and cross country running amongst many other sports.  Allen had a strong sense of family, always ensuring that he spent time with those he loved.

 

Time is something you can never get more of, and Allen never refused to give it to any of his family and friends. 

 

Family and friends will be received on Monday June 5th from 2:00pm -4:00pm and 6:00pm -8:00pm at Giffen- Mack & Trull Funeral Home.  Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday June 6th at 11:00am in the Funeral Home, Fr. Edwin officiating.
