LEESON, Charlotte Elizabeth (Betty)   -  it is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Betty.

She passed away peacefully at her Briton House home Friday, June 2, 2023.

Betty was the beloved sister of Jim (Donna); cherished aunt of Kathy, Nancy (Marty) and Tobey (Steve); much-loved great-aunt to Brook (Lucy), Fawn, Reed (Joe), Chris, Paige and Pierce.

She was predeceased by her sister Joan, nephew Dan, great-niece Ginny and great-nephews Timmy and Scott.

Betty was a kind and gentle soul who loved nature in all its forms.

She also loved to travel. Betty was active in her church as well as both Scottish Country Dancers and International Folk Dancing. Her career was spent with Toronto Hydro, retiring from the position of Executive Assistant to the General Manager. Betty made many cherished friends over her lifetime and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends at the Humphrey Funeral Home A.W. Miles – Newbigging Chapel, 1403 Bayview Avenue, from 10 a.m. Saturday, June 10th, followed by a service in the chapel at 11 a.m.

If desired, donations to St. Cuthbert's Anglican Church, 1399 Bayview Avenue, Toronto M4G 3A6, in lieu of flowers, would be appreciated.
