Lancaster GraceLANCASTER, Grace Margaret (nee BRYDON) -  In Celebration Of   Passed peacefully, at Burloak Long Term Care, on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at the age of 97.

Beloved wife of the late Eric Lancaster (deceased 2005); loving mother of Lynn (Peter) Budgell and Eric "Rick" (Shelley) Lancaster.

Forever loved by her grandchildren, Heather, Eric, Allison, Whitney and Julie; proud great-grandmother of Isla, Liam, Lucas, Adelynn, Owen, Akio, Mai, Bree, Maya, Abbie and Xander.

Predeceased by her parents, Robert and Euphemia "Effie" Brydon; and sisters, Isobel (Gordon) Woodall and Dorothy (Frank) Brick.

Dear aunt of many nieces and nephews. Grace will be deeply missed by all who have known her. Her calendar was always full. She enjoyed many years of bowling and bridge and was a contributing member to many service organizations and charities.

She loved to keep up with the news and she never turned down an opportunity to travel or dance. Her children and grandchildren always anticipated her cookies and pies, especially at the cottage.

Grace shared her love of her cottage in Muskoka with her children, extended family and friends. Our lives are richer because of her gentle nature, endless optimism and enthusiasm for life.

A special thank you to the staff of Burloak Long Term Care for their care and compassion.

A Celebration of Grace's Life will be held in the fall.

For those who wish, a donation may be made in Grace's name to Covenant House in Toronto, Salvation Army Canada, or a charity of your choice.
