O'DONOGHUE, Paul Henry  -  92, of Toronto, died peacefully at home, on September 28, 2023.


The youngest of four children, Paul was born in Toronto in 1931 to the late Henry Dillon and Stella Lynch.


Paul is survived by his daughter Michelle, her husband Andrew and their children, James Paul and William; niece Karen (late husband Don); nephews Bruce and wife Georgette, Glenn and wife Karla, Paul and wife Heather; and brother-in-law Jesco Afheldt.


Paul attended high school at St. Michael's before obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in both Arts and Theology at University of Toronto.


Paul joined William M. Mercer Ltd. in 1955 until its acquisition by Marsh & McLennan in 1959 and eventually served as CEO at Marsh & McLennan Canada, a position he held for more than 25 years.


Paul was predeceased by his beloved wife Denyse and three sisters, Mary, Nora and Ruth.


The family will receive friends at the Humphrey Funeral Home A.W. Miles - Newbigging Chapel, 1403 Bayview Ave., from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, October 5th. The funeral will be held at Holy Rosary Church, 354 St. Clair Ave. W. on Friday, October 6th at 10 a.m.


In lieu of flowers, donations to the Daily Bread Food Bank, Covenant House or Scott Mission would be greatly appreciated.
