McGUIRE, Brian Michael - Of North York, born April 11, 1952, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, October 18, 2017.
Beloved son of Shirley McGuire (Bell) and the late Basil McGuire.
Sadly missed by brother Paul and sister-in-law Patricia. Fondly remembered by nephews and nieces, Colleen Miller (Marc), Scott (Sara) and Brett (Jennifer) and by their children Ryan, Liam, Colin, Claire, Cameron, Abigail and Chance.
Brian was recently retired after many years of working in shoe sales, most recently with Walking on a Cloud.
Although recent illnesses had presented challenges for him, he was clearly enjoying his retirement and celebrating family occasions.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 22nd between 6 and 8 p.m. with prayer service at 7:15 p.m. at Chapel Ridge Funeral Home, Markham. Funeral mass will be held at St. Mark's Church, 345 Glad Park Ave., Stouffville, at 10 a.m. on Monday, October 23rd.
The family would like to thank the many health care professionals who supported Brian over the last several years with special thanks to North York General Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations to North York General Hospital are greatly appreciated.
