KENNEDY, Lewis Joseph  - December 20, 1931 - October 19, 2017

Passed away peacefully, 1 year to the day of his wife's passing, surrounded by his loving family.

A semi-retired Accountant who owned and ran his own practice for over 50 years. A devout Catholic; past member and President of St. Brigid's and Precious Blood Young People's Club (Toronto).

He was one of many who helped lay the foundation for the establishment of St. Mark's Roman Catholic Church in Stouffville, where he was still an active member.

Lewis enjoyed all aspects of life including gardening and landscaping his property, watching his sons and grandchildren in their activities, volunteering in the community and his true passion, accounting and tax preparation. Predeceased by his parents Anna and Angus and his beloved wife Denise.

Survived by his loving sons Paul (Marion) and Peter; treasured grandchildren Ryan (Joy) and Samantha; siblings Mary (Bill, Lloyd, both predeceased), Gordon and Rita (Don, predeceased). He will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews, other family members and friends.

Visitors are welcomed to O'Neill Funeral Home, 6324 Main Street, Stouffville, on Monday, October 23rd from 2:00-4:00 and 6:30-9:00 p.m. and Tuesday, October 24th from 9:00-11:00 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, October 24th in St. Mark's Roman Catholic Church, 345 Glad Park Avenue, Stouffville at 11:30 a.m. Interment at Stouffville Cemetery, with a reception to follow.

If desired, memorial donations may be made to St. Mark's Church Expansion Fund, Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Kidney Foundation.
