TURNER, Stephen Gerald  - Born in Calgary, April 23, 1939. On Monday, October 23, 2017, surrounded by his loving family, peacefully passed away.

Beloved husband of 50 years to Paula, devoted father of Sean (Marilen Dilag) and Melanie and proud grandfather of Jaryd and Sydney.

Son of Wilfred and Gladys (deceased) and cherished brother of Phyllis, Wilfred, Roberta, Frank (deceased) and Don.

Stephen will be greatly missed by his extended family and countless friends.

Immense gratitude to Dr. Piyanthi Goonetillake and her office staff, also to Dr. Aaron Hansen, Dr. Jeremy Lewin, Antionette, Christina and all of the nursing staff of the GU4 clinic at Princess Margaret Hospital for their extraordinary compassion and dedication.

Last, but not least, Dianna who came to the home and gave him the care, respect and dignity that he so deserved during his final days.

Stephen was a great lover of animals and nature, donations in his name can be made to either The Toronto Wildlife Centre or Princess Margaret Hospital Cancer Research.

For those who knew and loved Steve, please feel free to attend a Celebration of his Life to be held at Lowville Golf Club this coming Sunday (October 29, 2017) between 1-5 p.m.
