GIBSON, Graham Edgar - On Thursday, October 19, 2017 in his 87th year of a life well lived, Graham passed away peacefully with family by his side.
Born on December 8, 1930 in Thessalon, Ontario, Graham moved to Toronto as a child where he resided until his passing.
Predeceased by Shirley, his loving wife of 54 years.
Beloved father to his children Wayne (Janet), Wendy (Don), Linda (Shane) and Denise (Glenn). Proud grandfather to his nine grandchildren Ryan, Max and Julia, Natalie and Nathan, Dylan and Evan, Heather and Lauren. Dear brother of Gayle (June), predeceased by Donald (Marilyn).
Graham always loved to sing whether it was around a campfire, with Barbershop choruses or impromptu whenever and wherever the urge arose. He especially enjoyed taking his family on many camping adventures throughout Ontario, the East Coast and winter escapes to Florida.
After retirement, Graham and Shirley spent relaxing time on many driving holidays and cruising around the world.
Graham loved to be around people and enjoyed striking up a conversation with anybody. He especially loved his afternoon competitive games of pool with his many friends. Graham's family would like to thank the staff at Viva Pickering and the numerous friends there that made his days pleasant and fulfilling.
A party to celebrate Graham's life will be held at a later date. For those who wish, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
