NIENHUIS, Aaldrik E. (Dick) - It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Aaldrik Nienhuis on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at the age of 90.
Predeceased by his loving wife Elisabeth, devoted and loving father to Ed (Fouzia), Frans (Colleen), Elisabeth (Chris) and Nicki (Tony).
Lieve Opa of Ashley (Paul), Kelly, Esra, Bradley, Kate, Joseph, Nicholas, Matthew, Austin, Jack and Alyssa. A private family interment will be held at Glen Oaks Cemetery.
The Celebration of Life reception will be held Monday, October 30, 2017 from 6-9 p.m. in Horizon Hall of Holland Christian Homes, 45 Kingknoll Drive, Brampton, Ontario (south of Steeles off McLaughlin).
The family would like to thank everyone who supported, encouraged and loved "Leive Opa" through these last few months.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Kidney Foundation, Holland Christian Homes or The Juvenile Diabetes Association would be welcomed.
