STEVENS, John (Jack) Arthur - Jack passed away peacefully at home after a courageous battle with cancer surrounded by loved ones on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at the age of 79.
eloved husband of Elizabeth (Liz) of 59 years, devoted father of Cathy (Jim) and Mark, proud papa of Jake and Jann and dear brother of Barbara Pegg.
Jack (Jackie's) lifetime career was the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSE) where he achieved two remarkable milestones.
He became the first arbitrage trader on the trading floor in his early days second only to being the proud owner of the first independent seat on the trading floor of the TSE known as Independent Trading Group (ITG). Jack was one in a million and we were the lucky ones to have him in our lives.
We will all miss him but our memories will live on. Cremation to take place followed by a private family interment.
