MEYERS, Edward Sebastien  - December 16, 1935 - October 28, 2017

Our beloved husband, father, grand-father, and great grand-father passed away peacefully at Scarborough and Rouge Hospital, Centenary Site.

His passing was unexpected and we pray for healing for many of his loved ones who are still coping with the shock. May God bless them and bring them peace.

Eddy is survived by his loving and faithful wife, Grace, and they were approaching their 60th wedding anniversary on November 17, 2017. He will live on in the hearts of his proud daughters Susanne and Suzette and remembered dearly by his sons-in-law Michael and Bobby. He will be forever loved and missed by his grand-children Natasha, Stephen, Nathaniel, Christian and Alyssia, the jewels in his life, and sweet great grand-daughter Amarise.

Eddy is the son of the late Edward Meyers Sr. and Albertha Alexander. He is the brother of Francis (wife Anne-Marie), Monica (deceased husband Libert), Rita, Mathew deceased, (wife Yvonne), Theresa (husband Rupert), Patsy (husband Victor), Anthony, and Cynthia, and will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Eddy will always be remembered for his commitment to work and family.

He was a mechanic by trade with long term careers at Neal and Massy Ltd, Morvant, Trinidad and General Motors of Canada, Scarborough Plant. He was a true handyman who loved working around the house and decorating. He was gentle and will be remembered for his smile and warm demeanor. After his retirement, his proudest and most satisfying moments were when he spent time with his grand-children.

Family and friends are welcome to visit at Giffen-Mack Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 4115 Lawrence Ave. E., West Hill, Ontario, from 5 – 9 pm on Thursday, November 2, 2017.  A Mass of Christian Burial Funeral will be held at St. Joseph's Parish, 200 Morrish Rd, Scarborough, Ontario (Old Kingston Road and Morrish Road) at 1 pm on Friday, November 3, 2017.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society will be greatly appreciated, as his wife Grace continues to battle Alzheimers, with amazing grace, dignity and faith in God.
