WESTERHOEK, Taeka "Jack" Jan - July 18, 1936 – November 1, 2017
Peacefully taken to be with the Lord, surrounded by his family on November 1, 2017.
Jack was a strong man and fought his battle with cancer for more than 16 years.
Supported by his wife of 56 years Anne, children John (Christine), Roy (Debby), Andrew (Lorna), Terence and David (Lise) and his eleven grandchildren Terrah, Rachel, Jessica, Jonathan, Sean, Andrew, Nicholas, Hannah, Elizabeth, Estelle and Esaie.
He is also survived by his sisters Jane and Nettie. Friends and family will be received at Taylor Funeral Home, Newmarket, on Sunday, November 5th from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, November 6th at 11 a.m. at the Bethel Community Christian Reformed Church, 333 Davis Drive, Newmarket.
Donations to the Alzheimer Society of York Region would be welcomed by the family..
