SANTI, Edward Enzo   - April 9, 1946 – November 2, 2017

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Edward Enzo Santi in his 71st year on November 2, 2017 after a courageous 10 month battle with cancer.

Loving husband to his wife of 38 years, Leda Santi (nee Beltrame), loving father to Paul (Tanya), Marc (deceased) and David (Amanda) and doting grandfather to Cecilia. Edward will be missed by his entire family, including his cousins in Chicago and overseas in Italy. Born in 1946 in Pievepelago, Modena, Italy to Vincenza (nee Barigazzi) and the late Ettore Santi. Edward and his family immigrated to Canada in 1958, where they found their family home in Toronto

Edward will be remembered as a family man who had a great sense of humour and was defined by a strong value system. He was extremely personable and will be greatly missed by his many friends.

Thank you to the doctors and all of the staff at Mackenzie Health for their tremendous work.

The family will receive friends at the Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home, 211 Langstaff Road East, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, November 5th and from 4-8 p.m. on Monday, November 6th.  A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Our Lady Queen of the World Catholic Church on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at 10:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Mackenzie Health or St. Michaels College School.
