Also survived by her sister Lea and her husband Steve Parson.
Friends called at the Thompson Funeral Home, Aurora, on Sunday, October 1st from 2-5 p.m. and on Monday, October 2nd from 6-8 p.m.
A Memorial Service was held at All Saints Anglican Church, 12935 Keele Street, King City, on Tuesday, October 3rd at 11 a.m. Interment of Joan's cremated remains was held in the church's Easter Garden following the service.
