WALLACE, Winifred (Freda) - Freda passed away at Lakeridge Health Centre, Oshawa, on October 30, 2017 after suffering a double stroke on October 26th.
Loving wife of the late Andy Wallace. Loving mother of Janine Rivard (Bob) and Lorraine Beirness (Dave).
Loving grandmother to Genevieve (Bryan), Kevin (Liz) and Kelsey (Adam) and great-granddaughter Avalon. Predeceased by her granddaughter Vanessa. Survived by her fifth sibling Jean Wright.
In accordance with Freda's wishes, no service will be held.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Sunday, November 12th at The Simple Alternative, 1057 Brock Road, Pickering, from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society or Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
The family thanks the staff at Lakeridge Health Centre and The Colonial Retirement Home for making her last few years and days restful.
