PARTRIDGE, Eleanor Constance (nee McPHIE)  - In loving memory of Connie Partridge January 29, 1922 – October 31, 2017

Who loved and lived life to its fullest for 95 years.

She was the true matriarch of her clan, the energy of the larger family always working through her. Her elephant-like memory never failed her as she kept tabs on everyone she loved.

Connie was extremely generous in nature, had a brilliant knack for details and had a fun-loving and adventurous spirit. She had a great sense of style, thoroughly enjoyed travelling and dining out on special occasions. Connie was the eldest daughter of Scottish immigrants John McPhie and Florence McPhie (nee Baden). Connie's family meant everything to her; she was a wonderful sister (and best friend to Mame MacDonald), caring mother (Roger, Jon and Anne), mother-in-law (Suzann and Lorraine), Grandma (Clayton (Jo-Ey), Shannon, Kailen and Mischa), Great-Grandma (Oscar and Jasper), Aunt (Jamie (Grant) and Robin (Jean)) and Great-Aunt (Lara, Tyler, Jill and Lynn).

She worked in Public relations with Doug Maxwell and Assoc. from 1970-90s, during which she traveled to Europe and Japan for the World Curling Championships and was a part of the Canadian Olympic Committee. Connie made her mark on everyone she met, leaving a lasting impression on all of them with her smile, positive attitude and humorous and witty stories; she really was the life of the party. She would want us all to love, follow our heart in all that we do and live life to its fullest.

We love you and will miss you. Your footprints & laughter have left their imprint throughout Canada. Your spirit is with us all.

We will celebrate Connie Partridge's life with a small, intimate service at the Chapel of St. Jude, Wexford (10 Howarth, Ave., Scarborough) on Friday the 17th of November, at 11.30 a.m.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations can be made to St. Jude's Chapel Restoration or the CNIB.
