CATENARO, Mario - Passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Humber River Hospital at age 86.
Beloved husband of Giuseppina (Pina) and loving father of the late Teresa Catenaro.
He is survived by his two grandsons, Joseph and Robert Follows, his brother Alfonso Catenaro (Luisa), his sister Giulia Lucci and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by sisters Restituta (Rita) Deciantis, Ferdinanda (Nanda) Marchione, Concetta Perruzza, Sr Remigia Catenaro and brother Andrea Catenaro.
Mario was a longtime resident of Richmond Hill, emigrating from Italy in April 1949. He will be missed by all those who were blessed to have known him.
Special thanks and appreciation to the wonderful staff, doctors and nurses in the ICU of Humber River Hospital. Visitation will take place at Marshall Funeral Home, 10366 Yonge Street, on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. followed by a funeral service in the Chapel at 3:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humber River Hospital.
