WENZL, Matthias - Passed away peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre on Saturday, November 11, 2017, with family by his side, in his 90th year.
Survived by Johanna, his beloved wife, the love of his life for 67 blessed years.
Sadly missed by his four children: Trudi (Frank O'Rourke), Al (Sue), Rudy (Deborah) and John (Sheri). Forever missed by his eight grandchildren: Gretchen (Jamie), Charity, Matthew, Kristy (Mario), Tyler (Carley), Amy (Jordan), Jesse and Holly.
Loved by his four great-grandchildren Emilia, Jayden, Kaitlin and Theodore. Also survived by his remaining sister Katherina Ebenbauer, predeceased by his sister Mary Nikolaus and his brother Johan. He will be missed by his brother and sister-in-law Phillip and Johanna Kampf.
Family and friends will be received at Elgin Mills Cemetery & Funeral Centre, Richmond Hill, on Thursday, November 16th at 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Interment to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
