MELVILLE-GRAY, Irene Marjorie Ellis (nee GORDON)  - January 13, 1932 – November 13, 2017

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother, Irene Gray (nee Gordon) who was born in Glasgow, Scotland and as a child moved to Toronto and later became a proud Canadian citizen.

On November 13, 2017, Irene died peacefully in her sleep, after a short illness at The Credit Valley Hospital.

Loving wife of James Gray for 55 years (deceased 2007), devoted mother to Jim (Mary), Paul and David.

Proud Grandma to Ryan (Maggie), Jordan, Kirsten (Mike) and Christopher. Adoring Aunt to Don (Janet), Karen (Tom), Susan (Al), Rod (Mary) and their children. She will be dearly missed by her close and extended family and her many friends who cherished her love and friendship.

Visitation will be held at Turner and Porter Neweduk – Erin Mills Chapel, 1981 Dundas Street West, Mississauga on Thursday, November 16, 2017 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service celebrating Irene's long, joyful and purpose filled life will be held at Trinity Church Streetsville, 69 Queen Street South, Mississauga on Friday, November 17, 2017 at 2 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Scott Mission and Trillium Health Partners Foundation.
