BLACK, Carole Ann  - Longtime resident of Orangeville, Carole Ann Black (nee Thompson), in her 76th year, died peacefully at home following her four year battle with cancer, on Sunday, November 12, 2017.

Loving mother of Robin Black, Lisa Black and David Reid, Erin Black and Dave Swindells.

Adoring Grandma of Max, Rhys, Hannah, Liam and Sophie. Dear sister of Wayne Thompson, Danny Thompson, Lori Thompson and Fred Lauzis. Dear daughter of the late Clifford and Theresa Thompson.

Carole was a caring, creative and nurturing woman, and a longtime volunteer of Orangeville Legion Branch 233.

The family wishes to thank the drivers of Wheels of Hope - Canadian Cancer Society, and the volunteers and staff at St. Michael's Hospital where Carole made many lasting friendships.

Following Carole's wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements by Egan Funeral Home, Bolton.

If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
