SABBAGE, Derek Wilson - May 9, 1933 – November 12, 2017
His family is heartbroken to announce the death of Derek Wilson Sabbage at St. Michael's Hospital, Toronto, on November 12th at aged 84.
He is survived by his wife Shirley of 61 years, son Steven and granddaughter Nicole and in the U.K. by his brother Brian (Freda), nephew Tim, niece Linda (Mick) and great-nieces Sophie and Jodie.
He was born in Blackpool, England and came to Canada in 1957.
He was employed first by the Imperial Bank of Canada and then the CIBC until his retirement, after which he enjoyed his winter home in Naples, Florida and travelling with his wife.
Friends may visit at Mount Pleasant Funeral Centre from 12:30 to 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 21st.
This will be followed by a short funeral service in his memory.
