Reinheimer MichaelREINHEIMER, Michael Thomas (Mike, "Chef Mike")  - March 20, 1956 - November 15, 2017

Mike was the true definition of an extrovert: he had a wonderfully genuine and larger-than-life personality, and loved everything about being with people.

Predeceased by his parents Shirley Pollard and Roy Reinheimer: happy to have been the stepson of John Roscoe.

He was the proud father of Paul, father-in-law to Allison, and grandfather to baby Alexander.
For a decade, he was the love of Karin MacIsaac's life.

He had a special place in his heart for Beth and Greg Johnston, the extended Cope family, and his beloved canine friend Henry.

Mike had two careers. For many years he worked at and retired from Aurora Scientific Inc. as an Electronics Design and Test Technologist.

He followed his passion for cooking by graduating from George Brown College's Culinary Program and had the pleasure of working at Aurora's Westview and St. Andrew's Golf Clubs, and as a private caterer.

Of the many gifts Mike gave us, we are thankful for his capacity to find the joy in life, despite past difficulties, and to embrace happiness and contentment.

He lived his life as he wanted, and so much of that meant giving to others.
If you choose to make a donation, Mike's charity was the Diabetes Association or a charity of your choice.
