TROIANI, Carlo - November 8, 1936 - November 16, 2017
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Carlo Troiani at age 81, following a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer.
Carlo will be missed and fondly remembered by his wife of 56 years, Santina (Virgilio), his children Mario (Antonella), Marisa (Gino) and Marcello (Tina) and his nine grandchildren, Laura, Julia, Emily, Ariana, Alessandra, Cristian, Matteo, Sofia and Mia. Born in Navelli (AQ) Italy, Carlo was proudly Italian but fiercely Canadian. He will be remembered by all that knew him as an honest, hardworking and fun-loving man with an enormous generosity.
The family will receive friends and family at Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home, from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 19th. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 20th at 9:30 a.m. in the Chapel.
Carlo's family would like to thank Dr. Ronald Burkes and the dedicated staff of Mount Sinai Hospital.
