ORTIZ, John Henry  - Born February 02, 1922 - Died on Nov 16, 2017

Predeceased by sister Celia Ortiz, William, Victorano, Ramon, also wife Elizabeth Reynolds Ortiz, survived by sister Eleanor Lyman, brother Ben Ortiz(Sharon) of Orr Lake

Retired from Toronto Hydro on June 30th, 1985, after 33 years of service

John was a member of Old Occident Lodge, WWII Veteran, Scottish York Rites of Barrie, Sauer Nessu Unit of Ramses Shriner.
Leaves behind wife Candice-Jane Burns of Barrie and sons Christian Reynolds(Hamilton), Glen(Sharon) of Omemee, Ronald(Kim) St Catharines and Roger(Edna) of Scarborough

Grandchildren: Jeffrey Ortiz(Sharon) Peterborough, Krystal Reynolds(Kevin) Cheyenne, Wy USA and great grandchildren Charlotte Jane Creager and Mason Ortiz.

Will be sadly missed by nieces and nephews and their families along with the many friends he knew while walking his best friends Gizmo and Daisy

Many thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at Victoria Village Manor and Royal Victoria Hospital of Barrie Ontario.
The family will receive Friends on Tuesday November 21, 2017 from 2 to 4pm at the Jerrett Life Celebration Centre, 8088 Yonge Street, Thornhill.

A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at 11:00am followed by interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Shriners Hospital for Children in Montreal, PQ., or charity of your choice.
