KEYES, John Stanley (Krysakowski) - May 27, 1923 – November 21, 2017
John Keyes passed away peacefully in his 94th year at Queensway Carleton Hospital in Ottawa on November 21, 2017.
John was born in Krakow, Poland. During WWII he proudly and courageously served in both the French and British armies.
In England following the war, he married his wife Elizabeth and soon after immigrated to Canada where they raised their family.
John is survived by his four children, John, Anne Pawlak, Matthew and Andrew, his grandchildren Guilluame, Daniel, Andrew, Katie, Brock, Catherine, Eléonore, Jasmine, Gabriel, Michelle and Nicholas and nine great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his wife Elizabeth.
He will be fondly remembered and deeply missed but never forgotten.
A private service will be held prior to his interment in Toronto on Saturday, November 25, 2017.
