CORNWELL, Barbara Jane (nee O'LEARY) - February 21, 1931 - November 17, 2017
Passed away peacefully on November 17th, in her 87th year.
Predeceased by her husband William (Ted). Mother of Dan (Karen), Debbie (Peter) and David (Carol), hip grandmother ('the granulator') to Lee (Monica), Katie, Kyle (Kat), Megan and Taylor.
Barb was raised on a cattle ranch in the BC interior east of Quesnel, BC, with 2 older sisters and a younger brother.
The family wishes to thank the residents and staff at Amica Bayview for providing a warm and welcoming environment and a large group of new friends for her later years. The family also wishes to thank the staff at North York General Hospital 3 West for their kindness and support for Barb during her final illness.Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
Per her wishes, there will be no funeral service. There will be a visitation with family and celebration of her life on Sunday, December 3rd from 2 to 5 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge Street.
