HENDRY, Maureen (nee Kennedy) - Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket on Friday, November 24, 2017 in her 82nd year.
Beloved wife of 52 years of the late Joseph Hendry.
Will be sadly missed by her loving children Stephen (Jill), Joseph (Noleen) and Ron (Freda).
Proud Gran of Sarah, Emma (Ian), Scott (Rosie), McKinley and McKayla. Wonderful Great-Gran of Hudson and Beckett. Loving sister of Catherine and the late Beatrice Airth (Ian).
Predeceased by her Mum Catherine Kennedy. Will be sadly missed by her nieces, great-nieces and many lifelong friends. Special thanks to Dr. Baguio and caring nurses in the palliative care unit for their kindness and compassion.
Family and friends will be received at Roadhouse and Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main St., Newmarket, on Sunday, December 3rd from 2-5 p.m.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, December 4th at 11 a.m. at St. John Chrysostom, 432 Ontario St., Newmarket, ON L3Y 2K4. Refreshments to follow in the church hall.
Donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
