SCOTT, Theresa Josephine - Born in Ballinahaglish, Ballina, Co. Mayo, Ireland, August 5, 1934; Theresa passed away peacefully surrounded by her family in her 84th year at St. Joseph's Health Centre.
Survived by her brother John Willie Morrison and her sister Kathleen Kelly.
Predeceased by her brother Patrick Morrison, sisters Peggy, May, Anne and Bridie, Devoted wife to Michael Joseph Scott for 52 years and loving mother of Tom (Sylvie), Mary (Kevin), Michael (Lindsay), Anne (Sean) and Jim (Renee).
Cherished grandmother to Martin (Iliana), Ciara (Mike), Maureen, Brian, Genevieve, Lauren, Julia, Ciaron, Sinead, Colleen, Emily and Michael. She will be dearly missed by her many nieces and nephews in Ireland and Canada. Theresa will be remembered as a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Toronto visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Lynett Funeral Home, 3299 Dundas St. W. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, November 30th, at St. James Catholic Church, 728 Annette St., Toronto, Ontario, M6S 2E2, (Jane and Annette Street) at 10:30 a.m. Burial to follow.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to St. Joseph's Health Centre in her final days.
If desired donations can be made in Theresa's memory to St. Joseph's Health Centre-Palliative Care Unit.
