Axworthy CarolAXWORTHY, Carol  - March 31, 1942 - November 27, 2017

Surrounded by her loving family on Monday, November 27th, 2017 at Milton District Hospital.

Loving wife of Michael Axworthy for 55 years.

Cherished mother of Jean Marie (Dale Catania) and Rose Mary (Casey DeBruge).

Treasured grandmother to Alishia Ann Axworthy and Mikyla Hailey Marie DeBruge.

Treasured Great Grandmother to Kody Michael Catania and Shyanne Roy.

Survived by sisters Donna Axworthy, Eileen Donovan, Brenda Nassar and Natalie Donovan.

Predeceased by her parents Marie and James Donovan, sister Shirley Kemsley and brother Lorne Donovan.

Carol was born in Ingonish, Cape Breton in Nova Scotia and devoted her life to her family and friends. She volunteered in Corrections and Addiction and was always helping those in need. She received awards from the Government of Ontario for her years of Volunteer work.

She married Michael in 1962 and moved to Bramalea with her husband and 2 daughters in 1970 where they still live.

Carol's memory will be held in the hearts of many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Many thanks are extended to the doctors, nurses and staff of Milton District Hospital.

Family and friends may gather at the Andrews Community Funeral Centre - 8190 Dixie Road, Brampton, on Thursday, November 30th, 2017 from 2:00pm-4:00pm., and 6:00pm-9:00pm. A funeral Mass will be held at St. John Fisher Catholic Church, 300 Balmoral Dr, Brampton, Ontario, on Friday, December 1st, 2017at 11:00am, following the visitation at funeral home from 9:30am to 10:30am..
