BEATTY, Robert (Bob) Douglas - With the grace of God, Bob passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 in his 86th year.
Bob will be sadly missed by his daughters Jane McCrimmon (Bruce) of Oakville, Lisa Beaver (Randy) of Oakville and Kara Beatty (Susan Wegenast) of Toronto.
He was the devoted and proud grandfather of Jack and Benjamin McCrimmon, James (Claire), Erin and Danny Beaver and Rebekah Dalziel. Bob was predeceased by the love of his life, Muriel Elizabeth, his parents Mary Leona Hayes and Douglas Arthur Beatty and his brother Ronald Peter Beatty.
Friends may call at the Ward Funeral Home, Oakville from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Monday, December 4, 2017. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Andrew Roman Catholic Church, 47 Reynolds St., Oakville, on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at 10 a.m. A reception to celebrate Bob's life will be held in the Marian Room in the Parish Centre.
As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
