Robinson RobertROBINSON, Robert Reginald  - 1922 - 2017 Blessed with a long and extraordinary life, Bob completed his final chapter November 29, 2017 surrounded by loving family.

Predeceased by his beloved wife, Marian (nee Sabine) his collaborator of 62 years, Bob will be deeply missed by his children Andrea (McGowen), Trevor, Derek and Paul; grandchildren Jaime, Carly and Jacqui (McGowen); Rory and Brendan (Robinson).

He will be sadly missed by his extended family and many friends in the community. Bob attended University of Toronto, was a member of DKE fraternity and more recently a Chancellor's Circle 65th medal recipient.

He was Education Director of Addiction Research Foundation for 15 years and his work in health-related fields on various boards, committees and volunteer service were testament to his character.

His creative writing skills began at the Galt Reporter while in high school and were well-honed during his lengthy career as Journalist, Editor, P.R. Consultant and Freelance Writer through his company RRR Communications.

Bob encountered a great variety of interesting people over the years, many of whom became friends and correspondents. Author of 10 published books and numerous newspaper and magazine articles, Bob could draw equally upon his personal background, wide experience of professional life and generous-minded humanity.

Longstanding contributing member of Bayview United Church, Bob enjoyed leading literary discussions at book club, couples bridge and edited the Oriole newsletter for several years.

A talented amateur pianist, Bob also played for the church outreach trio 'The BVD's'. A private family gathering will be held in the spring to commemorate a life well-lived.

If desired, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
